Sketch: Baby Mine

Super duper rough sketch of Honeycrisp's sister Firelight and her young son Sunsplash who is happily sleeping curled up in his mother's embrace.

Firelight is Honeycrisp's youngest sibling, and I decided to change her design a little bit, make her more of a paint pony like her father, sister and brother.
I adopted Sunsplash from here (he's No#4, his cousin Rusty is the first colt)  and have been  wanting to draw him, but didn't know where to start with him. His coloring was very close to that of Firelight's so I thought that it might be fitting if he was her foal.

Sunsplash would be as old as Rusty and Autumn, but Firelight is keeping his paternity a secret, something that annoys
her mother Keepsake, but her dad Domino doesn't mind. He has himself yet another grandfoal to spoil! I need to adopt another filly for Gingergold's daughter Misty, who is a pegasus.
